Visitors have access to the entire apartment, except for the host's bedroom and bathroom. The terrace is also available, and can be pleasant even in the middle of winter, when the sun is shining, as it is south-facing. The living room can be used for reading, home cinema, or simply to exchange ideas or take a nap. Depending on the affinities and desires of the visitors on the one hand, and the availability of the host on the other hand, the host will be either at the disposal of the visitors, or in the background, in his room or in his office located in the basement. The host has a rather sober lifestyle, due to his work as a freelance translator at home. He therefore prefers to receive quiet, low-noise visitors.
